Hello all, happy new year and welcome to the season of new beginnings.
For us at LACVIS, we are very much excited about the prospect of the new year. Top of which is the renewed call for emission control in the prevention of physiological health diseases such as neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, reproductive and/or immune system damage and environmental pollution.
To achieve a near total eradication of this, we are modest enough to know that we can’t do it all alone as it involves a whole lot of collaboration and where better to look if not the office of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA.
We were of course attended to by Dr. Dolapo Fasawe and other top directors of the agency.
Obviously, there is a need to ensure that the environment is fully protected to enable we live much healthier and happier and this is one of the reasons the computerised vehicle inspection at LACVIS, which checks for emission control, is the way to go.
One of the ways we can achieve that is when we all come together to amplify our advocacies in our different spaces, to push the merits of good health and good life.
We are quite excited of the possibilities of advocacy with LASEPA. We are optimistic that the strategic direction of the Dr. Fasawe led LASEPA is poised to ensure that the environment is simply the conducive habitat that will help to change the world, one advocacy per time.
